Application
| NOTES ♠ Please remember to read through all of the information before putting in an application. Your chances of becoming accepted will go down significantly if it is apparent that you have not read the information given. Questions are always accepted, so don't feel shy about asking! ♠ The following application is a very loose outline of the information that is required. The mods will not take anything less, but encourage you to go above and beyond what you have been given. You are free to add in fields that you find appropriate. ♠ We are looking for creativity, quality writing, and a character that we feel will fit into the game. The mods reserve the right to reject your character if we feel that he/she is not a good fit or meet our expectations. ♠ Depending on how you would like to play it out, if you are applying for a Demon or a Deadly Sin, you are free to write out a detailed profile for both the demon/sin and the human host if they have a particular relationship. However, it is acceptable if you assume that the human host is no longer fighting in the vessel. This is up to you. |
| SUBMITTING Instead of asking you to post your entire application in the comments, we ask that you provide some general information through commenting here and post the bulk of your application in your character's journal. The character profile must be unlocked at all times, even after you have been accepted. If the mods have not responded to your application in five days, feel free to give them a prod. Chances are we accidentally missed it or real life has stolen us away. Generally, we try to respond in a timely manner. Should there be any questions, concerns, etc. with your application, we will try to contact you as soon as we can. |
| APPLICATION PART I Please copy-and-paste this section into your IC character journal in an unlocked post. Formatting is up to you as long as you have at least all of the information asked of you. Name: Your character's name. Alias(es): Any main aliases and/or nicknames your character may be known as or prefer to be called. Race: Demon, Angel, Vampire, Deadly Sin, Miscellaneous Creatures, or Hunter Element: (ANGELS ONLY) Please choose one of the elements (fire, earth, water, air, dream, light) for your character to specialize in and describe briefly how your character is able to manipulate this power and what he/she is able to do with it. Remember that archangels will have abilities in all areas but will choose to specialize in one. Premade: The premade that you are applying for. Age: Your character's age (and birthday if applicable/you want to include it.) Occupation: How your character passes in the real world and/or makes a living, if applicable. ("Hunting" is a perfectly reasonable occupation.) Location: The main location/home of your character, if one exists. This is the place that he/she is most likely to be stationed or seen at. However, we understand that some characters (usually hunters) move around a lot, so just describe the character's living conditions if a set location can not be found. (Please be as detailed as possible here.) PB: As stated in the rules, generally one PB per character. See the mods before you submit your application if you want to use more than one and we'll talk. Appearance: Roughly describe in a few sentences your character's appearance, presentation, and way of dress. Strengths: Bullet points are acceptable Weaknesses: Bullet points are acceptable Personality: Describe in 400 words (or more) how your character acts. Suggested information to include are quirks, habits, mannerisms, likes/dislikes, etc. Please be as descriptive as you can. Family: List immediate family members, incredibly close friends, or even enemies. Describe their relationship to your character, and their influence on your character and his/her actions. They do not have to be in-game characters and do not have to be currently interacting with your character (they can be deceased.) If your character was turned something, you can also go into detail here about the person who turned them and the situation they were involved in. Keep in mind that angels will not have 'parents' but may have siblings, friends, or even enemies. Background: (MISCELLANEOUS CREATURES ONLY) Give us detailed background of the character. What are its powers, what are its limitations. This should show that you have throughly done your research and you are free to go a little outside the box. History: In 400 words (or more), describe your character's history. If your character is taking on a vessel, include the struggle he/she has (or is currently) gone through in taming the vessel and what relationship (if any) they now have with the vessel. |
